Washington State Ferries runs a route between Anacortes, WA and Sidney, BC. Sidney is about a 10 minute drive to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal.

Black Ball Ferries runs a route between Port Angeles, WA and Victoria, BC. The drive from Victoria to the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal takes about 45 minutes.
